Use these free directions and create a bookmark that looks like a bird.
Age Guideline: 5 Years and Up
Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)
The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

    Materials Needed:
    Tongue Depressor or Craft Stick
    Paint or Markers
Scrap of Craft Foam or Felt
    Wiggle Eyes
    Feather
    Craft Glue
    Scissors
    Instructions:
Paint or color the tongue depressor or craft stick whatever color you want the bird to be. Let the glue dry.

Cut a small triangle out of yellow or orange craft foam or felt and glue it onto the painted tongue depressor where you want the beak to be; then, glue on the wiggle eyes. Turn the tongue depressor over and glue the feather onto the back.

Set aside and let the glue dry. Once dry, you can use your bookmark or even give it away as a gift!
